Oh What a Weekend!

To celebrate my dad's 42nd birthday we headed up to the cabin for a surprise party! We made it there just fine there was some snow on the road, but Drew's truck breezed through. Then Drew headed back down the hill to go pick up my some supplies from my sisters car that couldn't make it up the hill.

And this is how it all ended! Yikes Drew was driving down the hill and saw some kids sledding so he was going SUPER slow! But lost traction and slowly drifted off the road! Even the kids sledding couldn't believe how slow he was going and how slowly he drifted off the road.

Finally after 2 tow trucks this guy pulled him out! His huge truck almost tipped it was crazy! Thanks to everyone for helping!

We made it just in time to see my dad blow out his candles. Well the kids got to it first!

Then after all that fun, we headed home to find out our water heater pipe burst! Oh what a weekend!

Drew Can Dew!

Before Thanksgiving Drew patched spots on my moms ceilings.

Here he is in the basement taking out some Sheetrock damaged by flooding.

And making it a bigger hole. I forgot an after shot but it looks amazing!

Mrs. Meyer's

You know when you find something you love so much, you just want to talk about it to everyone you know. Well I have just the thing. It is my obsession!

Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products, are the best! One of the families I nanny for had the Mrs. Meyer's countertop spray, and I fell in love! It is the geranium scent and it blows my mind!

After running out of my counter top spray I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond af purchased the dish soap, all purpose cleaner and air freshner. They have an assortment of scents, but this is my favorite. Not only does your house smell amazing after you use it, but they are super efficient! They make everything SO clean! That is my obsession of the week!

Ocho's New Glasses!

This is my nephew Ocho, or Owen for the people not in the "circle of trust", ha!

And he sure looks handsome! Chocolate Milk mustache and all! On top of that, he performed in his Primary Talent Show (all by himself) as a mime! Still waiting on the video... Michael! I love this kid!

Laugh Until You Puke... Literally!

Meghan was home for Halloween! Welsley, was out to sea... Bummer! But it was fun to play with Meghan while she was here!

...Christmas...

I LOVE Christmas! So why wait for December to decorate!

So yesterday as I was finally getting around to taking down the rest of Halloween stuff, I put up Christmas!

This is our Nativity set, which was the first Christmas decoration Drew and I purchased together.

Since turning our living room into the mini North Pole, we have had our iPhones hooked up to speakers, and used the Pandora app to have a constant stream of Christmas playing!

We can't wait for Christmas, and we are off to make a countdown chain... Yes that was Drew's idea!

Happy Fall!

Today is a gorgeous day! It's a day that describes fall!

To make the most of today we (Hank, Lilly, Kate and I) walked to the park.

Super bundled!

Then as everyones noses were redd, we headed home for lunch.

Then to really celebrate fall we played in the leaves. Made "big daddy piles" of leaves and jumped in them.

Then made a fort, the slowly grew into a maze!

Fall is my favorite season ever! I love having a job that let's me full advantage of the seasons!

Crochet!

Drew and I went to my grandparents house to learn about the stock market! My grandpa is quite the Guru in this area. After our detailed lesson about day traiding my grandma took me upstairs and taught me how to crochet.

We started on a burp cloth and recieving blanket. And I just finished both! I love it, my neck was sore and my fingers were stuck in a semi curled position, but it was addicting!

Pretty safe to assume if you have a baby in the near future you will be recieving a blanket! Act surprised!

Go See This Movie!!

Drew, my mom and I saw this movie tonight! And it was incredible!!!

And Drew vowed never to see a movie unless it was in 3D! I thought I would get sick of the 3D, but it made the movie so fantastic!

When I first heard about the new Christmas Carol I was a little bugged they would remake it. It has been done so many times! This one blew me away! The music, the graphics, the 3D I can't talk enough about it! Go see it, but don't bring your kids unless they are over 8. It's pretty scary!

Cleo!

Today was a beautiful day! So we took advantage of the morning and took the dogs to the park to play and train.
