I hate trying to get a decent in the bathroom! It doesn't help that one springer spaniel chewed off my flash... Eff!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/12214004423/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3699/12214004423_de81b3734d_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1391045669516.1797" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="618" height="825"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We tried to keep this awesome flooring. It just couldn't be revived. Sad day! I saw a beautiful bathroom done by Alice lane that used rectangular, square and navy penny round tile. It was beautiful. I used the basic idea but changed it a bit for my liking. I used mint penny round tile that I found on overstock.com. And then trimmed out the penny round tile with a beaded trim tile from lowes. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/12214404006/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7455/12214404006_793f03b805_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1391045669529.6948" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="622" height="936"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Oh I love it so!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"> This was a during shot. </p>

<p style="text-align: center;"> About the details... No loud accents, just texture. </p>

I keep running out of time to get there when there is good lighting... I'm going to try and get there early tomorrow for some bathroom shots. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/12182732345/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7316/12182732345_f8bedd547b_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1390879155483.2593" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="978"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> But oh the tile! I found the most beautiful grey tile named pumice. It looks like it is hand glazed. The pictures just don't do it justice. But wow!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/12183353546/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3781/12183353546_15e7ce5798_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1390879155495.0164" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="623" height="924"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Against the white shaker cabinets it's dynamite. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/12182735095/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3694/12182735095_8379ff3ea5.jpg" id="blogsy-1390879155548.2412" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="620" height="475"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> This picture is a little better at showing the variations on the tile. Subtle but so lovely. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/12183153114/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7324/12183153114_35423fb4bf.jpg" id="blogsy-1390879155499.6392" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="622" height="439"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/12183154724/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3705/12183154724_3858408b7a.jpg" id="blogsy-1390879155518.0588" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="625" height="415"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Getcha from every angle. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/12183359046/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2859/12183359046_9cbb5afa93.jpg" id="blogsy-1390879155540.8533" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="630" height="418"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/12183156684/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3792/12183156684_f2fa36fd68.jpg" id="blogsy-1390879155531.1995" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="630" height="418"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Went with a little lower wainscot trim in this house. Gives the paint color a little more room to shine. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/12183360966/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3770/12183360966_7f4e81ab9d.jpg" id="blogsy-1390879155537.7578" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="640" height="425"></a></div>

<p style="text-align: center;"> I think Valentine decor is my favorite to decorate for. I love it so much I start in January. 14 days in February just isn't enough...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11969070285/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7413/11969070285_c9f766e19a.jpg" id="blogsy-1389816059256.692" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="620" height="411"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> The XOXO pendant from target is still one of my favorite decorations. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11969071785/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7327/11969071785_c7b8c033a5_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1389816059178.552" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="623" height="939"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> It is still January so I left my New Years decor up and just added to it... Closer to February I have plans to swap them out. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11969073075/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5545/11969073075_0bf8db126e.jpg" id="blogsy-1389816059188.8953" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="632" height="419"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I kind of like the idea of tweaking my mantle instead of a total overhaul. Just swapped out the Christmas art and exchanged the anthropologie knock off snow globes with my winter village. I collected these little houses from Savers and then spray painted them white and added white glitter on top of the snow. Love! Then stuck two of them in apothecary jars for some height. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11969364593/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3767/11969364593_cdfe0bfe18_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1389816059195.2322" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="622" height="936"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> These nooks give me decorating anxiety. They are too deep and tall... It's a feet to get the proportions right without making it look too crazy. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11969492134/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3719/11969492134_7fe1e41b14.jpg" id="blogsy-1389816059174.83" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="625" height="415"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I brought out my four shades of lipstick and went to town on a sheet of white paper. Then layered that on butcher paper and stick it in my spray painted frame. Found these teacups at Savers and I'm dying to find the entire china set. The geese measuring cups were a 'treat yourself' purchase when anthropologie had its winter sale! $12! What?! </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11969910966/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5537/11969910966_fc1a658f60.jpg" id="blogsy-1389816059179.3838" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="625" height="415"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I might need to call this the year of the silhouette. I got a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas and I'm smitten. I made these tickets from glitter paper and they are darling. Accented by anthropologie latte bowls. I die. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11969369063/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3769/11969369063_fd57c451c4.jpg" id="blogsy-1389816059252.4775" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="630" height="418"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> It was looking too busy in these nooks so I wrapped my cook books in brown paper which is actually floor cover from Home Depot. A super cheap option that will probably last me my entire life. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11969913626/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3786/11969913626_ddac376d04.jpg" id="blogsy-1389816059182.333" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="620" height="411"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> When anthropologie stuff goes in sale 75% off you end up with two sets of animal measuring cups. And I luff them all!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11969914756/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3720/11969914756_e70af88b64_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1389816059256.9568" class="aligncenter" width="625" height="941" alt=""></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Happy Valentine's Day!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"> Drew and I decided that 2013 was our best year yet. We had such a great year with some ups and downs. Overall taking total responsibility for our lives and decisions has made all the difference. </p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right. </p>
<p style="text-align: center;">-Oprah</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"> I am thrilled with how this house turned out... It's exactly how I saw it in my mind. Love when that happens. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373904533/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5508/11373904533_d13ffb70aa_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846418.4834" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="617" height="929"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> This house was beat... I am going to try and find the before YouTube video tour... Makes the transformation that much better... I am crazy about these rounded 1x1 marble tile squares on the fireplace...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373771075/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2866/11373771075_33a3b308f9.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846427.2732" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="606" height="362"></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We did a wainscot throughout the main family and dining room and into the kitchen... Some people worried it would make the rooms feel smaller, but I wanted it for the opposite reason, I think it connects all the rooms and creates the illusion of space...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373773755/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7459/11373773755_70f6e1bc41_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846502.4858" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="620" height="934"></a></div>

<p style="text-align: center;"> The hearth... I love how the dark brown floors brought out the touch of brown in the tile...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373776155/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3677/11373776155_8585b0559b.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846524.3467" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="618" height="618"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Don't mind the wonky curtains... There was some touch up paint drying... Or it's a new look...hmmm....?</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373777095/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2892/11373777095_83881285a0.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846524.1206" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="633" height="420"></a></div>

<p style="text-align: center;"> Crazy about this West Elm Capiz chandelier... </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373780305/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5478/11373780305_866a95251f_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846518.1533" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="610" height="919"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I think this wainscot adds so much charm to the house...</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"> I snagged this quatrefoil tile off of overstock.com during a sale and got it 60% off... Can't beat that....</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373837584/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7334/11373837584_8ca011583f_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846505.8306" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="601" height="601"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We used the leftover countertop from morning side and went with the Carrera perimeter and honed absolute on the island. Grounding the center of the kitchen...</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Love this touch of fun.... Keeps it simple going with white, but something fun to catch your eye...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373840844/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7398/11373840844_e79795b11d_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846517.1423" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="618" height="931"></a></div>

<p style="text-align: center;"> This is the upstairs guest bath... I am nuts about this blue/green tile... I tried a new pattern with the larger subway sandwiching the smaller subway, I love it,</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I leave these tile layouts for the tile setters... It helps when a lot of the time there are language barriers... This tile setter was incredible... He did an awesome job... You'll see more of his work below...</div>

<p style="text-align: center;"> I switched things up and went with vertical tile for the shower... So,etimes I think vertical shower feels too modern, but it just loved how the white shell tile looked like a trickle of water...</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I had him set the floor 60/40 overlay... Love this floor color...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373815586/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7330/11373815586_36163095fd_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846546.6484" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="622" height="936"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I love love love how this bathroom turned out... We needed to find some less expensive options for the tile... I have never see this hex and square tile used on the wall... But I thought I would try it out... I think it looks awesome! So simple and can all be found at lowes or Home Depot. Can't beat that...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373793615/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2877/11373793615_cde9845452.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846535.8098" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="624" height="616"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Love the window trim tile...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373794325/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5474/11373794325_c9b5ce7887_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846461.7627" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="623" height="938"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I went with two oversized lanterns for the exterior... They are epic! </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11373795265/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2816/11373795265_b3b480d795.jpg" id="blogsy-1387059846542.369" class="aligncenter" width="617" height="409" alt=""></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> The foundation and wind aprons were all painted fire engine red. I used this gray because of the hint of blue it had in it, so it would pull the blue out of the rather than the orange... It worked!</p>

I brought over some decorations so we could get a little more of a lived in feel...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11348953526/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3716/11348953526_215ed4f458_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1386915876828.7134" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="562" height="691"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> We just moved into a house with a fireplace... Nothing like this (yet) but I have really loved decorating it... I got these gold frames that my friend picked up from a yard sale for me... She knows me too well...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11348981444/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2891/11348981444_7d7e1edced.jpg" id="blogsy-1386915876867.151" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="608" height="405"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I got this chalk art from Recipe For Crazy's etsy shop last year, and put it in the yard sale frame with a red velvet matte... I out it in there just to see the size thinking I could switch or paint the mat, but I ended up kind of liking it!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11348955366/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2859/11348955366_e7a5c5467f.jpg" id="blogsy-1386915876811.4102" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="627" height="416"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Mason jar globes are a anthropologie knock off that I made last year... </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11348874195/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5521/11348874195_48599bbb5b_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1386915876830.8062" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="635" height="957"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> And the redd books I snagged from savers last year for $0.50. So really it all boiled down to what I could find on hand!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11349034083/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3665/11349034083_0a54ca8ae6_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1386915876873.4075" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="555" height="776"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I also grabbed these staggered size candles from ikea... They were basically free... So cheap... Drew keeps asking when we are going to light them... I keep staring back at him blankly.... Boys (shake my head)...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11348956386/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5534/11348956386_691f2e7d0a.jpg" id="blogsy-1386915876838.542" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="431"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> The real beauty is this mantle... I die...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11348983654/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7319/11348983654_560e04b3e0.jpg" id="blogsy-1386915876872.7422" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="639" height="424"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Well and my $4 savers mirror... Can't beat that...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11349035483/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2870/11349035483_b068b2b887.jpg" id="blogsy-1386915876852.3352" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="625" height="415"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11349034083/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3665/11349034083_0a54ca8ae6_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1386915876884.4363" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="557" height="780"></a></div>

<p style="text-align: center;"> Oh do I have a treat for you! Drew has been working his little magic fingers on a house that needed a lot of love. Above is the awesome before... Asian landscape wallpaper, pink stone mantle. Can only go up from here...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11310956505/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7292/11310956505_79f97d7327.jpg" id="blogsy-1386697818274.5732" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="627" height="416"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> And Drew smashed it out of the park. The owners were considering a simple fix for now over the pink. When we work with clients we give suggestions, not to increase our profit (although it doesn't hurt) we are truly more concerned with us leaving you with a product you will absolutely love... So Drew asked them while you are doing these updates leaving the mantle the way it is will leave the rest of the updates still feeling old. They agreed. </p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I will show you the rest of the updates Drew did in a bit... For now the mantle needs a spot light... </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11311083723/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3679/11311083723_a692724609.jpg" id="blogsy-1386697818317.9297" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="431"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I could stare at this beauty all day. Sometimes it is easier to get a better idea of all the work that goes into something like this before it gets painted...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11310999706/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3674/11310999706_267d1bc490.jpg" id="blogsy-1386697818282.181" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="620" height="620"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> A lot of people will skim coat the Sheetrock smooth... After our last paneled walls where our sheet rockers left a lot of tiny pinholes that are often hard to avoid we vowed to never take that route. Drew installed 1/2" MDF and then rabbeted pencil mould inset panels. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11311085863/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3769/11311085863_5e1c3e7d87_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1386697818328.1597" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="639" height="852"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Then he used the same trim but cut the rabbet off so its inset in the mantle instead of overlay on the paneling.... Does it feel like I'm speaking Chinese?</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11311086813/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5475/11311086813_78a34ee85d_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1386697818336.8105" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="627" height="836"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> A little crown moulding on top of the leg of the mantle...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11311002426/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2836/11311002426_2953d688bc.jpg" id="blogsy-1386697818252.3296" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="617" height="617"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Each and every piece custom cut, glued and nailed. Drew hates this picture because he said he made a bad cut in the bottom left corner.... So close to perfection...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11311003756/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3735/11311003756_fc6704e976.jpg" id="blogsy-1386697818256.7473" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="431"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> After prep and sprayed with oil based paint in Benjamin Moore White Dove... And the panel is sprayed in oil base tinted Benjamin Moore Cliffside Gray. The client wanted a gray that was more on the blue side... And this gray was it!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11310964635/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2863/11310964635_ec85beac28_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1386697818260.5422" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="625" height="941"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I found this 1" hex tile through classifieds marked down more than 60%. It turned out amazing! Drew had the brilliant idea to do chair rail tile on the inside mouth of the fireplace, sometimes working with that smaller tile it gets really tricky to get a crispl line. This really finished it off nice. If you notice the profile of the chair rail tile mimics the pencil mould inset perfectly. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11311083723/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3679/11311083723_a692724609.jpg" id="blogsy-1386697818244.078" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="645" height="428"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> And here it is... I will say almost finished. I get too excited, drew still needs to grout caulk and he might repair inside the fireplace where someone chipped away the concrete.... I couldn't wait!</p>
<p> </p><div class="blogger-post-footer">...continue on this little journey>>>></div>Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14648672783830192552noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2273832735614693570.post-73449279250775204182013-12-08T17:24:00.001-08:002013-12-08T17:24:54.075-08:00Woah! Welcome Back...<p style="text-align: center;"> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I worked with some investors doing the design for some investment properties. It really is so fun just being able to say this is what I want... And it happens. Here are some pics of the property. The photos are not of the highest quality. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11281276234/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3787/11281276234_ffeb8aeb55_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1386552292365.0732" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="718" height="958"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Before</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11281324293/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5509/11281324293_58d32d7196_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1386552292441.9844" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="495" height="685"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">My sketchup...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11281254356/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2870/11281254356_7a0a33a490_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1386552292399.714" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The after, the investors wanted a way to spruce up this fireplace. I chose to keep the quartz mantle to save cost and designed a simple panel top. Then finished it off with glass tile. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11281256386/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2839/11281256386_2cc72549ac_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1386552292386.5737" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This shot needs one more coat of grout and a clean... But it's pretty tile!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11281211045/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7395/11281211045_c10ed8ee35.jpg" id="blogsy-1386552292381.259" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="615" height="461"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Front room staged and ready to sell...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11281284064/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5472/11281284064_92c2764430_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1386552292364.8696" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Love the look of these flushmount lights but they don't throw off much light. Frowny face...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11281331093/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5544/11281331093_1055a68831.jpg" id="blogsy-1386552292398.2693" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="552" height="414"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> We opened up the walls and created an island. I used honed black granite on the island and Carrera on the perimeter. I love how the black anchors the island. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/11281215195/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5547/11281215195_16f6da3340.jpg" id="blogsy-1386552292382.5242" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="552" height="414"></a></div>
<p> </p>

<p style="text-align: center;"> The ceiling had a major sag in it... When they exposed the center, it was only a few 2x4s laying flat... Aka no strength... So we vaulted it! Oh and they wanted to rip out the window seat! What? No way! love this room...</p>

I was hired to pick the interior paint color and Drew was hired to paint... It was no small feat...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9675997680/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5494/9675997680_07e00a5053_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1378329954574.1611" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">How awesome is the exterior of this home... The former owners color scheme gave a dark and moody feel to the home. The new home owner wanted light and crisp... We tried out a whole bunch of whites and cremes. We finally landed on Pointing from Farrow and Ball... It was incredible!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9672771141/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3682/9672771141_a432545fe7.jpg" id="blogsy-1378329954584.8765" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="758" height="610"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Before they used Georgian Green by Benjamin Moore on some walls and then the same color at 25% for the ceiling color. Then randomly throughout they used yellow accent walls.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9672771513/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3708/9672771513_ba4c52f3cf_b.jpg" id="blogsy-1378329954572.8193" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> We went with Pointing throughout the house, which I think is ideal for an open floor plan... And Decorators White from Benjamin Moore on the ceiling... It is breathtaking!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9675999276/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3716/9675999276_86ba699434_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1378329954509.1814" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="712" height="949"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Drew was standing on scaffolding up 40 feet. It made me sick to my stomach to watch. He's a pro!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9672772421/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7302/9672772421_02613e362e_b.jpg" id="blogsy-1378329954514.676" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="742" height="742"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> A little side by side for comparison. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9672772981/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7443/9672772981_2866e29715_b.jpg" id="blogsy-1378329954561.398" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="747" height="747"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Its just so bright and fresh... It shows off the mortis and tenon timber framing which is the real master piece of the home!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9672773501/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7321/9672773501_3bc6905478_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1378329954550.023" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="733" height="979"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Not a barn without antlers...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9676001152/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3683/9676001152_b14b2e68b8_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1378329954593.7239" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="751" height="1002"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> A little slice of heaven on earth...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9672774255/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5340/9672774255_58fb23546a_b.jpg" id="blogsy-1378329954510.709" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="751" height="588"></a></div>

<p style="text-align: center;"> One panel intersection.... It's amazing to think about what is underneath the paint... We had to skim coat the walls for a smooth surface, 1/2" MDF for the raised verticals and horizontals (or stiles and rails) and then the rabbeted edge pencil mould inset... Along with glue, nails, putty for nail holes, caulk for the lines, Spackle for joints, spot glazing putty for touch ups, primer and paint.... And don't forget sanding In between every step.... And that is all!</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Drew had a Saturday off! Wahoo! It was amazing! We planned on taking full advantage of this luxury and we did... We woke up early and gathered some supplies from Wally World... And headed up to Echo Reservoir... If you have dogs in Utah you know that it can be places few and far between that are dog friendly... Echo is super dog friendly! It was perfect. We pulled the truck right up to the sandy beach... Unloaded our cooler and chairs... Unpacked the chuck-it for Mac and had the best afternoon. We floated, fetched, drank, read lounged and slept.... It was perfect. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">After a nice afternoon in the sun we packed up and headed to the drive in for World War Z. Perfect outdoor day. </div>

We got a call for a porch remodel... And we sort of ran away with it... Here is the before....</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9119828170/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5344/9119828170_7fd11ce3b3_n.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360926.0344" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="482" height="364"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The homeowner after purchasing the house painted the house grey.... Brick.... By... Brick.... Did I emphasize that enough? Blew my mind...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9119829294/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2810/9119829294_2db4c9c552.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360924.3096" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="387"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Ripped off the awful precast post and cheap guardrail....</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9119829698/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3795/9119829698_43c58bc775.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360901.8608" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="387"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Definitely an improvement! We were set up to take it away from there... We wanted a new porch foundation, what they had was an old wood frame that was wrapped with a trellis, and what looked like left over vinyl fencing on the ground... Eww... Also the original soffit, or the ceiling was a loud, overly vented aluminum.... It had to go...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9119830096/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3666/9119830096_e6ccb75bb4.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360969.457" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="219"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<p style="text-align: center;"> So this was my design.... I wanted to keep it true to the original style and accentuate the scalloped shake gable ends by adding some board and batten. Some shaker panel posts. With a little extra detail to fit closer with some ornate posts they have in the home. Add some posts and a large header to the garage to provide balance and strength to the structure. And wrap the windows with a simple stile and apron. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9119830550/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3686/9119830550_3a47e80975.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360916.6624" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="431"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> And here is the after...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9117604175/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3747/9117604175_6ba67002cb.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360944.865" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="431"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I'm in love.... It was hard to drive away from it at the end of the day...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9117605053/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3809/9117605053_72080652c7_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360962.4192" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="909"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">When we removed the ceiling we found that they had dropped the ceiling for no known reason. We were able to lift the ceiling and really trim it out with a coffered tray ceiling. We did a three strep crown. We did a 3/4" flat piece, 4" crown, and then another 3/4" flat piece. It's in the details...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9117605769/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3702/9117605769_1aedbf1dc0_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360920.216" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="839"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> The posts we used a flat cap, cove mould, small shaker panel, pencil mould then a large shake ended with a cove mould and plinth block. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9119833948/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5469/9119833948_22566057f5.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360892.537" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="431"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Oh that ceiling! That ceiling! I love!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9117607065/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5458/9117607065_dbe5131cd1_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360905.5264" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="869"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9117607767/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2879/9117607767_fd01af91db.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360938.4836" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="367"></a></div>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9117608507/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7324/9117608507_a07456b877_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360949.4976" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="828"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> You can't stop at a beautiful porch can you? So you see how we had to keep going. We trimmed out the windows to creat balance and added the board and batten to add some interest. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9119836550/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3701/9119836550_f1742e4c2b.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360940.021" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="431"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> And they did. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9117609713/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2805/9117609713_5e8b7e33b6_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360919.1526" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="698"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">As much as I loved the porch and gable ends... My favorite part was the garage. What was once a massive looming structure we trimmed and cut angles enough to make it look balanced and fit the rest of the house. By adding the board and batten we cut the steepness of the pitch. Making it not looks so giant. </div>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9119838202/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5488/9119838202_b217878bbc.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360979.0342" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="588"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Then we added the header to give the illusion of support. And that delicate pencil mould for more interest... Then double posts on either side. Love!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9117612121/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5326/9117612121_ee5c09af80_b.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360907.136" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="1498"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Especially in Utah the land of the overgrown, over pronounced, cheap garage it was so rewarding to design a garage with a lot of detail. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9117612637/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5329/9117612637_9c104160b9_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1372014360976.1545" class="aligncenter" width="650" height="978" alt=""></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We had an install for a great room we designed...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here is the before... Not a bad place to start!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9071688337/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7363/9071688337_1d689b6061.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583514138.6892" class="aligncenter" width="632" height="474" alt=""></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Here is the board I put together to see how the items we liked fit together...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9073916780/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5499/9073916780_cf85a4fb11.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583514207.9563" class="aligncenter" width="650" height="487" alt=""></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The table showed up, looked nice but wasn't finished or sealed so that went back... We got a larger yellow medallion chair... And as it turns out not all ikea hemnes items are the same white... Huh.... After all that... We got this... We have a few more pillows, tables and details we are waiting on, but I couldn't wait to share...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9071689975/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5508/9071689975_73ec7a6aa5_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583514157.913" class="aligncenter" width="650" height="763" alt=""></a></div>

<p style="text-align: center;"> And to wrap up the Oysterville tour we'll see some of the charming houses I fell in love with.... The yellow house with the single dog house dormer, lined with moss covered fence...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9079468910/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2871/9079468910_22ec0675ce_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583483629.4631" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> The detail of the facia was one of my favorite features...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9079469336/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7445/9079469336_fa7ea880b2.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583483593.6448" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> And these windows.. What a fun way to add character to a house... Not your average window design...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9079469834/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2847/9079469834_3f7be2b52f_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583483594.4841" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> This is an inspiration picture for a house Drew and I want to remodel... Complete with shed dormer that runs the length of the top floor. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9077244999/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7407/9077244999_6426c1db6d.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583483589.2913" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> The out door living that is above the second story addition, and the wall to wall window room.... Beautiful!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9077245727/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2886/9077245727_15dcb87a7d.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583483549.888" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I loved the whitewashed shakes and the white lap siding addition on this house.... But what really caught my eye was the fence...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9077246451/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3792/9077246451_30c48739f2.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583483576.3523" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Darling!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9079472514/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2877/9079472514_2779a60198.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583483610.6484" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> And now the bell of the ball was this house...perfect patina... The long cupola on the roof...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9077248009/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3705/9077248009_f1a5a9f81c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583483641.0527" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> The all glass pass through and entrance to the garden was the one that stopped me in my tracks...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9077248849/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2890/9077248849_d6acded557.jpg" id="blogsy-1371583483574.4487" class="aligncenter" width="650" height="271" alt=""></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Look at that! Pictures can't do it justice, but they will do. Again for a design field trip... Add Oysterville, Washington to the list...</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9072874670/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2817/9072874670_c83ea4936f_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371518146692.616" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Oh the church in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oysterville,_Washington" target="_self" title="">Oysterville</a>... With it's unique shakes, ornate balustrade, detailed frieze board, elegant corbels, moss lined roof, and salmon accent color... Made me swoon...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9072875760/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3813/9072875760_ab51e469f6_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371518146649.4077" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I mean just look at the barge blocks, that subtle swoop? Yes please!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9072876416/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3667/9072876416_295bbb2c6f_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371518146702.0154" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> The above picture shows the crown that sits on top op the frieze board, which is the flat board that rises to a peak.... Ya get what I mean? No? Well google it....</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9072876978/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7396/9072876978_b08fb3cc7e_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371518146690.721" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I developed a real "thing" for corbels! I want them every where! And the detail in these corbels was magnificent!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9070649427/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7339/9070649427_42f4e36f46_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371518146681.6367" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Just look at that! As my mechanics Wayne would say.... "It's exciting..." In a real non excited tone and in situations that didn't quite warrant it... </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9070650069/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3788/9070650069_84b8312464_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371518146736.762" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Well if the outside didn't get you going.... The inside probably won't either.... If it did, follow along little one.... Because I'm about to squeeze your mind grapes... (A la 30 Rock...) </p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Lets start with the wallpaper! Oh my! The prettiest sage with the warmest creme... Perfection... Next up on the eye candy treasure hunt.... I almost said trail but that would be innappropriate... Look at that fluted chair rail? It was about 5" wide and it was amazing! Then the 3" tongue and groove wainscot.... Mind. Blown...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9072878430/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3775/9072878430_ef958d3b00_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371518146657.7114" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I mean even the door knobs.... The sign on the door said please keep door closed.... My mom opened it.... She don't curr... She's awesome...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9070650923/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7362/9070650923_e79b5455b6_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371518146686.005" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The chapel... I wish I could finish up the nursery rhyme I started at the beginning if the post... But there are no people... But you can imagine my fingers braided together going all wiggly... Open the doors, here's all the people!... Good enough? Good. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The chapel.... Oh where to begin? Anywhere? Okay... </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The dimension of the ceiling... The wallpapered ceiling, the band going across the wall to divide the wallpaper that the tall windows overlapped.... I. Love. It. All.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9070651321/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2857/9070651321_0b2eee2ece_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371518146721.0002" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Close up of the wallpaper.... Peeling, yet still amazing!</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9072879696/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5454/9072879696_9c1e6ecbb1_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371518146685.3254" class="aligncenter" width="650" height="867" alt=""></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Wrapped up with the detail on the pulpit...</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Terrific... A design eyes heaven...</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Amen.</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Just the cutest school house ouve ever seen... No biggie...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9055167098/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3678/9055167098_ce2c0bc539.jpg" id="blogsy-1371350780723.5134" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="527"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> There is a little town called <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oysterville,_Washington" target="_self" title="">Oysterville</a>... And it blew me away... I mean get real.... Look at that school house...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9052943385/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3755/9052943385_07c1d09098.jpg" id="blogsy-1371350780653.2664" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Look how the cedar shakes patina on the wall, but are still orange under the drip edge and along the belly band...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9055172534/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5534/9055172534_13c982dc71_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1371350780705.2004" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="799"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> This shot is the front of the school and inside the porch... Beautiful. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9055173042/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7369/9055173042_e0508a30a4.jpg" id="blogsy-1371350780694.911" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="587"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> This charming little board and batten barn caught my eye. Love the colors...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9052948571/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3751/9052948571_024d189055_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371350780723.0195" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> So subtle and just a pop of color in the window... Awesome... I would make this a priority place to visit... More to come...</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This was a shop right off Cannon Beach.... I loved all the dimensions. What really caught my eye was the corrugated pop out with symmetrical windows. Then I got closer... </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9030210974/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3808/9030210974_c9f217b876_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371084029617.8914" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">How amazing is the pattern on these cedar shakes? I love the one inch on 4 inch variation. I also thought the butt joint window trim was neat. </div>
<p> </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9027982989/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5321/9027982989_162d11bf9a_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1371084029691.7112" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="798"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I love...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9030211960/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5453/9030211960_cc7538bf38_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1371084029664.608" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> The caged rock fence and bench had a lot of charm too...</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9027984177/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8137/9027984177_5e0a0e3d40_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1371084029650.5457" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="829"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Down the street was this little shop, with the cutest window trim... The post in the corner and the bead board apron... Yes please! And if you look to the far left the post on the edge of the building I think is a nice way to end a house corner. And as always.... The crown moulding! I want it everywhere!</div>

<p style="text-align: center;"> I'll wrap up with my new love.... Corbels... These giant ones caught my eye because of their size and the neat rosettes (?) behind them... Love them! A detailed alternative to porch posts? Maybe?</p>

As always it was a good time had by all.... Well at least for me... I can't speak for anyone else. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">One of our first stops.... Well second, the first stop was a gas station... (Or two...) because my dad needed a chocolate donut... I respect that... Then we went to <a href="http://www.sesameandlilies.com/" target="_self" title="">Sesame and Lilies</a>... The cutest store on Cannon Beach...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9011160012/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3668/9011160012_21c6a27d09_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1370901581820.0784" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I wanted to take this whole basket home....</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9011161326/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2811/9011161326_29850bf405_z.jpg" id="blogsy-1370901581868.28" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="720"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> How amazing would a basket of Japanese fishing floats would be? The answer? Amazing. </p>

<p style="text-align: center;"> You just don't see enough of these signs.... Oregon and Washington seem to be super dog friendly. Drew and I are planning a trip with the pooches. Every dog needs to see the ocean right?</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/9009978417/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3722/9009978417_027a558ca1.jpg" id="blogsy-1370901581910.2717" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I have lots and lots to share about this trip. All of which was stuff that caught my eye design wise. So stay tuned...</p>

He managed to do all the wood work for a mantle and a built-in mini mudroom. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8630061940/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8248/8630061940_0558b6151f.jpg" id="blogsy-1365379558677.3025" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> This mantle was inspired by <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwauxLAe8zSHIxEUUKn236VhrL0E3ZR-l6cafWw5qXd6sMl0RQb_TetSBCUaf6H-n0Qcbc1UI8w_B1G8VoEl62JoA9Syci_CSpslX3qEnC2_m23Y6JUsXlbl9l4eHfk3EnVlPXpvMwDA/s1600/Holliday+home+Meikel+Reece+_16.jpg" target="_self" title="">this one</a>. By <a href="http://www.tiekbuilthomes.com/" target="_self" title="">Tiek Built Homes</a>. The tile is beautiful and is a woven stone pattern that has brings great texture to the piece. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8628955555/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8255/8628955555_99a5f93cd9_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1365379558699.6335" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> During....</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8630062578/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8112/8630062578_203e4db441_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1365379558674.2158" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="867"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I wish we would have snapped a picture of the cupboards that were here before. This is such a great use of space! The built in was designed by the client Drew's brother and sister-in-law... </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8628955943/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8401/8628955943_7e88fe1829_c.jpg" id="blogsy-1365379558695.0913" class="aligncenter" width="650" height="963" alt=""></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> It turned out terrific. </p>

Visser Design<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I stumbled upon J. Visser Design and my mind was blown! If you follow my <a href="http://pinterest.com/lindsayredd/houses/" target="_self" title="">pinterest board Houses</a>, you may have seen these. Look at this house! Look at all the unique details... The glass walkways with rounded metal roofs. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8614524005/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8519/8614524005_022e558bd5.jpg" id="blogsy-1364957186603.767" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> (<a href="http://www.jvisser.com/portfolio/muskegon-lake-north-muskegon-michigan/" target="_self" title="">via</a>)</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8614524337/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8266/8614524337_4b1ed97c05.jpg" id="blogsy-1364957186597.4412" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Incredible! My eye rests easy on homes with symmetry. I love how they could have just made a massive home (not that this is in any way small) but they broke it up with the glass walkways to give dimension that lead to more smaller living areas. Helping to make a huge home feel more intimate.</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8615631992/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8538/8615631992_1c0b921907.jpg" id="blogsy-1364957186560.0151" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> I really like the back view of the corner. What is a 90 degree turn in front is a rounded glass wall. I especially like that they accent the glass walkways with grey on the exterior. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8615632342/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8126/8615632342_2f403f0676.jpg" id="blogsy-1364957186613.0889" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Grey pop outs and functioning exterior shutters. Love the giant crown on the pop out. </p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8614524949/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8124/8614524949_d7d758e3c1.jpg" id="blogsy-1364957186603.1958" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="487"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Beautiful!</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"> Polly and Drew reunite after 3 long weeks.... Forgive Polly's shabby appearance, scheduled an appointment with a groomer, and our yard. One more year of seed.... It's come a long way... Just focus on Polly trying to turn herself inside out!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Turning the volume on is essential...</p>

<p style="text-align: center;"> Oh my! <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Wonder-R-J-Palacio/dp/0375869026" target="_self" title="">This</a> book was amazing! I kept hearing about it, but seeing as its a junior novel I thought myself superior... Just kidding, I just thought it was a kids book... While every kid should read this, I think every adukt should too. I cried... Several times... It's just a book to bring us all back to human decency I highly recommend this book. For everyone, and especially everyone entering Junior High!</p>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I need to do a reverse image source and find out where these vintage Easter cards are from! I want them for next year! For now I will enjoy them here!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8608753728/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8534/8608753728_585041313d.jpg" id="blogsy-1364783468453.5679" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="650" height="426"></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I had a wonderful Easter! Drewpy came home after three weeks! For a couple that will start a company together just so we can spend more time together during the day... Three weeks was an eternity!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8607649671/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8253/8607649671_33b34ec8ea.jpg" id="blogsy-1364783468481.1194" class="aligncenter" alt="" width="325" height="505"></a></div>
<p style="text-align: center;"> Snatched Drew up from the airport, Easter brunch, caught Drew up on Walking Dead, a nice walk in perfect Spring weather, Easter Dinner and more Walking Dead! Does it get more Easter than that?</p>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/61867707@N03/8607649833/" target="_blank" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8251/8607649833_d7f2b1f41e.jpg" id="blogsy-1364783468483.7224" class="aligncenter" width="650" height="416" alt=""></a></div>
