Oh What a Weekend!

To celebrate my dad's 42nd birthday we headed up to the cabin for a surprise party! We made it there just fine there was some snow on the road, but Drew's truck breezed through. Then Drew headed back down the hill to go pick up my some supplies from my sisters car that couldn't make it up the hill.

And this is how it all ended! Yikes Drew was driving down the hill and saw some kids sledding so he was going SUPER slow! But lost traction and slowly drifted off the road! Even the kids sledding couldn't believe how slow he was going and how slowly he drifted off the road.

Finally after 2 tow trucks this guy pulled him out! His huge truck almost tipped it was crazy! Thanks to everyone for helping!

We made it just in time to see my dad blow out his candles. Well the kids got to it first!

Then after all that fun, we headed home to find out our water heater pipe burst! Oh what a weekend!

Great Weekend!!

We just had the best weekend! It was one of those weekends that everything just fell together!

Drew surprised me with the cabin, to have a celebration for my birthday since I worked on my birthday and the weekend after. And every weekend following.

The first thing we did when we got to the cabin was Drew started a fire, we snuggled up and read 'The Giver'. My all time favorite books, I think I have read it over 10 times. Best part about this was it was all Drew's idea. He packed the book and the blankets! It was perfect!

The next day we walked to the waterfall to enjoy the leaves. And they did not disappoint! Every year the fall leaves get prettier! I LOVE fall!

These pictures just do not do the leaves justice.

I love this bridge/ walkway, it just reminds me all the fun memories at the cabin.

Then we headed back to the cabin and listened to LDS General Conference on my iPhone via the app fStream. It's amazing what this phone can do.

Then we headed into Provo so Drew could do a little work on this bathroom.

It ended up with us watching Steve work. Which was totally worth it.

This is the bathroom that they just finished up. Their tile work was amazing! And Steve came up with the idea of putting the sconces right on the vanity mirror. It was a beautiful bathroom.

Then we headed down the Provo canyon and Drew took me fly fishing. I would consider it a success seeing as how at no time during fishing did I hook any part of my body!! Ha ha I struggle!

After getting frustrated, I decided to just take some pictures.

Drew is amazing! I can't believe how good he has gotten since the last time we went together.

And to prove I was there and super excited about it here's my picture. It was a perfect relaxing weekend especially since it was wrapped up with me beating Drew soundly in ping pong. Thanks for the AMAZING weekend.

Amazing Weather = No Blog!

We had an amazing Memorial Day weekend, that I just haven't gotten around to blogging about! We started off with an early visit to my grandpa's grave. It is the first Memorial Day I have someone to visit. I miss my grandpa!

And wasn't too thrilled to be woken up...

I rented out one of my dad's houses. Yes some how I managed to get the guy to pay a cleaning deposit, first and last months rent, and he threw in FREE Disneyland passes!!!! Score!

Caesar was as handsome as ever!!

We went golfing. And this is my attempt to try and verify my existence!! Did work out to well!

We made the trek up to Sundance for suckers!

And to enjoy the atmosphere!

We brought a long out lacrosse sticks, and played catch in the mountains!

We came home and drove up another canyon, to have a fire, and roast hot dogs!

Then we set up a tent in our living room, and had a camp-in!

The next night we took Drewpy to his first drive in! In his new truck!!

And he loved it!!! Truly one of the best weekends EVER!!!
