Almost There!!!

Before: Outside of the house....

After: Outside (sorry I didn't do it in the best lighting so the house looks really washed out, and the redd door doesn't look as good as it does in person, you get the idea!) We still need do some landscaping, and touch-up...

Before: Pink Bedroom...

After: Pink Bedroom
We painted and patched the walls, ripped up the old carpet, and replaced the window.
Now we just need to lay the carpet...

That is just a tiny snippet of what is done in the house... The cupboards are hung, all the walls are painted. Light fixtures are in, this week we (and by that I mean Andrew) will lay the carpet pad and carpet, and work on the tile! Then we will install the counter tops, and will be ready to sell...

After a hard days work sometimes you just want to throw on your redd t-shirt and relax!! At least that's what we do here in the Hogan Home!

I Married a SuperMan!

I don't know how many different ways I can say it, but my husband is extraordinary!!

We were given a sofa and a couch and a love seat (Thanks Enslins) so we went to pick it up, and as you could imagine I was not the best helper. There is something that happens (pretty sure it's genetic) when I pick up something heavy I start laughing. After needing to put my end of the couch down five times, and only moving a few feet, Drew took it upon himself (literally) to pick up the entire couch and move it!

Yes he is still carrying the entire couch by himself. Up the stairs and all... There is just not anymore I can say about it... I'm still speechless!

Caesar and His Best Friend!

Caesar LOVES my sister Meghan! I was sitting on the steps of our house watching them play when Meghan had Caesar climb up on her, and to my surprise... almost horror... he just kept getting taller... I don't know why I didn't realize how tall he would be now, he isn't even six months yet!! He still has six more months of growing!

My word, what did we get ourselves into!!!

Four-Wheeling!

We spent last weekend in Dillon, Montana for a Hogan Family Reunion! This weekend was packed full of adventures! I did three blog post in a row so that it could be read in order, instead of reverse... If that makes any sense.... It's like figuring out a puzzle when you want to do more than five pictures in a blog so I just did three separate entries.... Anyways....

We made a stop in Idaho Falls so that Andrew's parents, whom just returned from their mission in Torreon, Mexico, could be released by Elder Mickelson. They have a beautiful home in Idaho. Complete with a dirt track out in their backyard for four wheelers and motorcycles. We even got to try out the mini motorcycle!! It was a great time!

The Mickelson's are close friends with Elder Scott, and they told us whenever he comes to visit he will take out this little mini motorcycle, it's his favorite!!

We even got to witness Nate do some pretty impressive tricks on the track... Left him a little sore the next couple of days. We enjoyed them though ; )

We kicked up so much dirt on the dirt track that they let us ride around the rest of their property!!! We had a ball!!

Geo-Caching!!

We had so many fun things planned for us while in Dillon. Andrew's aunt and uncle own a ranch that sits on quite a few acres, that over looks the Beaver River. It was beautiful, we went four wheeling, fly fishing and played really fun games. One of the games is called Geo-Caching, where you look up on the Internet the area you are in and it tells you the co ordinance of where these treasure boxes are. You get a GPS and you go and find them. Inside people put in little goodies and you swap your treasure you brought for one in the box.

Here is the gang looking for their treasure... Each co ordinance comes with a clue... This one was "On top of old smokey"... So you hike and follow the GPS to where ever these boxes are hidden! It's like a real live treasure hunt! Who knew that these boxes are hidden everywhere. They said that some can even be hidden in your neighborhood, and you would never know!

Kayle's treasure that he swapped out for another toy!!

Andrew and his cute dad, we were so happy to be with them for these past two weeks before they went back to Texas... We miss them already!

The Hogan crew, Geo-Caching! Such beautiful scenery for a great activity!

WashU!!

WashU is probably the most fun game I have ever played! This is Drewpy mid-toss!! Utter concentration!!

You try and throw these washers into these wood boxes with holes in them that are worth different point values! And add your score up to twenty-one without going over!
Here are the cousins playing on the last day, Chelsey's showing her incredible WashU form! And Russell just barely missing the number 2 hole!

So close, but so far!!

Cami and me, loving life cheering on the WashU players!! You can tell from my hair... It was wild!!

The best part was the view from Pat and Gerald's back yard! It was so incredible... This picture doesn't even do it justice.... All I know is that we will be back! I can't wait! Thanks Hogan's from an AMAZING weekend!!!
