Bathrooms By Tiek Built Homes!

Tiek Built Homes had been improving a lot of bathrooms over the past few weeks. So I thought I would post some before and after shots of their great work. Before I start I thought I would showcase a few of Drew's footwear shots! He seems to have quite the eye for photography!

And this is why I am in charge of the camera! Who knows what we would have in a scrapbook if it were up to Drew!

Bathroom 1

I love this first picture. It looks like they were so anxious to get started that they didn't wait for the owners to take their towels down. Knowing Drew he probably was so excited he ran in and started tearing the walls down with his hands! Boy does he love this job!

So they re tiled, put in baseboard and painted this bathroom.

I think the most incredible feat of this bathroom was finding a paint color to work with the peach bathtub! And they did!

They made this little built in shelf, that turned out very nice I think! Good work Tiek Built Homes!

Bathroom 2

This is just after the demolition.

Hanging the Sheetrock.

The finished bench in the shower!

Finished shower.

After demo.

During the tiling.

Finished, I love how this turned out!

The owners wanted some extra storage so they built these great shelves for them.

During.

Finished! You can't really see the bead board on the bottom cabinet but it's there and I love it!

Bathroom 3

Finished product!

Bathroom 4

And the last!

Obviously during construction.

Putting up the subway tiles! I LOVE this tile, anywhere I have seen people put it I think it turns out great!

And the floor not completely finished. But as you can tell it is going to look great!

Prayers Needed

For those who don't know, our friend Brandon Plewe (Katie Crockett's husband) was just diagnosed with a form or cancer known as Multiple Myeloma. A condition very rare especially for someone as young as him.
Starting in January Brandon was having back pains. Back problems are pretty common in Brandons family so he was being treated as such. Last Wednesday as Brandon was in excrutiating pain they went to the hospital and found that he had fractures in everyone of his vertebrae. He had lost 4 inches of height because his spinal cord had become compounded. They also found out that his kidneys were failing.
He begins chemotherapy this
week, and then will have a bone marrow transplant. There is a fund being set up in Brandons name at Zions Bank to help with the cost of treatment. And a calendar where you can sign up to fast for the family. A website for Brandon and Katie is set up www.brandonplewe.com where u can get more information. Please keep Katie and Brandon and the Plewe and Crockett families in your prayers.

Day at the Park

Caesar and I went on a walk today, to get some much needed training in. He has become quite accomplished at walking at heel. We no longer even bring a leash and he hangs right by our side.

Today was a super fun day at the park because Caesar made some friends. Two 10 year olds came up and played with him and he LOVED it!

Here is Caesar demonstrating his 'Nice to meet you'!

The played fetch, and chase and tried to wrestle with him! It was after I took this picture I realized how ENORMOUS he is! When I got home I was cleaning up our yard. Apparently King Kong snuck into our yard and defecated! I will let your imaginations run with that! Anyway, we love this guy. everything about him is BIG and GREAT and I mean EVERYTHING!
