The Aquarium

I forgot how great and cheap The Living Planet Aquarium is!
I loaded up my two little buddies and had a great time.
I love the aquariums they have, mesmerizing and nauseating at the same time!
The tiny sea horses are my favorite.
Kate and Lillian loved being tall enough to stand on their own.

This little Nemo guy loved us! He stayed infront of the girls forever!
Petting the sting rays scares me every time! One of those things you don't want to do but you have to.
My little buddies!

Bathroom!

Well we were supposed to be spending this weekend in sunny St.George with my family.
Parade of Homes, bike rides, food, family etc, etc.
Instead... The upstairs shower sprung a leak, and the tile had to be torn out to find the leak. So we stayed home to get it all sorted out! Bummer!
So to cheer myself up I went on an ikea trip. Found some awesome fabric and started a new project.
Our bathroom doesn't leave much to be desired. We have a sink that Drew fondly calls the 'prison sink'. Complete with exposed pipes and everything.
And a teeny tiny mirror.
I didn't even clean it off. Just to give you the full effect of how miserable it is! Ha!
First of all did you know they make iron on hems?! What?! Why did no one tell me this?!
So I got out my darling pins!
And my trusty sewing machine!
Gathered my assistance around me, and got to work! I made a sink skirt! And I LOVE how it turned out!! We unearthed a mirror from our shed that was given to us a long time ago. (We don't refuse free!) and voilĂ ! A new bathroom!
To attatch th sink skirt I just bought some Velcro at Office Depot, and easy as that the sink was complete!

My New Love!

Thanks to my new laminate floors I have met my new love!
My electrolux ergorapido stick vac!
This little guy gets the job done, and looks beautiful in every room. Truly I don't put it away because I love the color so much!
So it sits on it's charging system in the corner of our bedroom just waiting to be needed. It's so light and convienent I use it everyday just a quick sweep of the room and we are dirt and hair free!
And it breaks down to be used as a dust vacuum. And the charging station holds different nozzles to get the job done!
If you would have told me before I got married that I would LOVE a vacuum, I would have called you crazy and gotten a restraining order! But I love it, and think you would too!

For the final sanity saver! This 5 gallon water bowl! I was spending a large portion of my time at home filling up our dogs water bowls! No joke probably 6 times a day! And they were always thirsty, how miserable to be at the mercy of someone else being in charge of your water. Who has time for that? Now every day and a half I fill up a five gallon water drum and they are good to go! May seem weird, but if you have a dog get one!
Now if we could just figure out a 5 gallon drum of Diet Coke for me, then we would be in business.

Yellow....

I'm on a huge yellow kick! And until I get the money to reupholster my couch I need something yellow in my living room.
And if I can't have this couch right now.
Then I am going ti repaint our coffee table yellow I am over the redd. I loved it. But it's time for a change.
I just can't find the perfect shade of yellow. This isn't a decision you can just rush into. Have you ever sanded down furniture to paint it? Miserable! (Apparently you don't need to sand as much as I did, but I still don't enjoy it.)
All of my swatches! Sometimes I want to paint it green too. Can't decide.
But don't yellow accent pieces look amazing?!
Oh and I need this rug too! So many things!

Harlem Globetrotters

For Drew's early Valentine Present, I got us tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters.

I thought it would be a fun thing that neither of us had ever done. And after a mix up with our tickets we were banished up to the nosebleed section.
It was fun and entertaining. A little cheesey for out taste. But still fun. Probably won't be back until we have kids to enjoy it with. I thought it was going to be a little more on the super trick and acrobatic side.
Still a fun night with Drew. Can't beat that!

Pooches!

Just giving the people what they want! Pictures of our puppy dogs!
