Friday Photos For Your Pleasure...

I found this lovely gold braided belt at a thrift store... Perfect for our princess Cleo! Yep... Our dogs wear belts for collars...

Mac likes to keep an extra bone in the crook if his arm, while he chews another...

Watching the wonder boy prep the floors for staining...

Mac runs errands with me. He refuses to be left at home. He's my buddy...

Man, I think I spent an entire month being sick! This little walking virus above passed out with her feet in the air, underneath a coffee table.... I was way jealous!

Drewpy putting in the usual crazy hours.... This was at 11 PM.... He started work at 7 AM.... We take our together time however we can get it. Today it was watching him float the basement floor.

Pussy Willows.... That were followed up by two huge storms... Awesome!

This is for you and your mom Virginia!

Waiting for me to get out of the shower... My little shadows.

And this is where you can find Drew when we are at my parents house.... He really enjoys the in-laws as you can clearly see!

Miracle on Main St...

Remember this beauty from last week? We'll Drew and his guys have been hard at work...

They installed cedar shakes on all the pop outs of the house. It is absolutely beautiful!

Adding the shakes to the back, absolutely makes it! This backyard is amazing.... Or will be.... All I know is I wouldn't mind a swimming pool, with this view!

Cedar shakes are something that just get better with time.... However we are wanting to get this house back on the market in a few weeks, so we had to give the patina of the shakes a little help... And stained them brown.... It made all the difference!

Bigger better view of Drew's posts!

Yesterday the new windows were installed... Just in time for their huge storm! Love the design on them... Tomorrow I am off to pick a door color! Exciting!

Who doesn't love a good side by side? Sorry to our instagram followers... You get hit with a double dose of these pictures!

Paint Decks, Floor Plans and Tile

Do you have something that you think about all day every day? Drew and I are both extremely lucky to work in a field we are both in love with... Exceptionally lucky to have it be in complimentary fields with each other.... And even luckier to be able to work with each other almost every day. I always thought it was funny that most people could see their coworkers more than they see their spouse! It was for sure that way for us these last four years. Now I get to pop in and see Drew's pretty face a few times a day... And watch him work on my design! Ha! It's like a dream come true!

Paint!! How pretty are paint chips? I'd say, way.... To super... But what's not pretty about some of them are the prices! I like to be the person that spends an hour in a store picking out each and everyone of the paint swatches.... I use old key rings, and poof! Paint deck!

I love floor plans.... The picture of this one reminds me so much of the Mauder's Map from Harry Potter (NERD)... Mischief Managed..... (Geeked out on that one)....

I love good classified finds.... In the 5th East house we left in an almond tub... How does one make that look decent? Well I decided to just go with the beige theme so as not to make it stand out. But I did not want to just use 12x12 travertine... I lucked out and found this 2x2 on an mesh 12" sheet in the classifieds! It retails for almost $10 a sq/ft at Home Depot.... I got it for $0.50 a sq/ft! Deal! I tiled the basement bathroom for $17! Success!

This is the tile I chose for the kitchen. Installed in a herringbone pattern.

For the bathroom, I love the look of white subway tile, but wanted to try something a little different and went with a6x8 tile. And glacier ice glass tile accent border.

I'm not quite sure why this picture looks so brown. But the tile looks awesome! We used a war, grey grout and it really adds dimension to the glass tile!

The slab yard is where I go to find countertops... Not your average shopping day! But everyday I love what I do!

Wall St...

We need to get better at taking before shots on these houses... From what I remember this house had some awesome green carpet, and smelled like urine....

A sunroom they were not allowed to remove because it was in a historical area... Even though the sunroom was clearly not original.

Drew exposed the brick on this wall. It was definitely the best part of the house.

The basement before, was a maze of tiny rooms, cement floors, exposed walls... A beautiful after!

Drewpy's Work...

What Drewpy has been working on... This house turned out beautiful, and sold within a week of being put back on the market...

Open concept kitchen... Why yes Drew and I installed that hardwood floor together! Team work, Yeah! The designer on this project picked out some beautiful lights! Love 'Em!

French doors into the office/bedroom..., but really the office.

Masterbath

Basement bath....

Drew's brain child.... Amphitheater seating for a theater room. It's amazing what Drew can see, in a building that is just concrete and dirt!

Lindsay Redd Design, LLC

Lindsay Redd Design, LLC is up and running, and I'm working on my first projects... I am working with an investor who rehabs homes, and I'm lucky enough to be able to do the design work on them. Here is the rundown before...

I love paint swatches... This one was a pretty easy choice... I went with Seal Grey by Behr. For the house, and Agave by Behr for the door.

I love the contrast of the dark house, and the light door.

Below is the a pink beauty! This house has been a little tricky, we were going with one look when I picked the exterior colors. And then ended up putting cedar shakes on the pop outs... I would have gone with a different color if we knew we were doing the shakes, but what can ya do? The creme trim looks perfect with the shakes! I'll take that victory!

I probably would have gone with the top green in the picture below with the shakes, but I chose the bottom grey which is Ashes by Behr.

Drew designed and executed the front posts! They look awesome!

Add so much to the style and interest of the house! This week I'll be wrapping up the design for the interiors of these houses. Love our jobs!

Seems Like Only Yesterday....

I guess we will begin with the most important part.... Meet Mac... (Macintosh.... Yep, we did that!) Mac started out as Bentley, Polly's brother from another litter.... Who came to us via a pit stop at my sisters house.... Praise the heavens she developed allergies to this pooch.... Drew and I found it in our hearts to make room for this pooch! Ha! Hardly.... Drew has been walkin' on sunshine with another puppy! I realized why he loves pooches so much.... He doesn't have to do the potty training... Smart guy!

He is our new baby boy! Cleo is over the moon in love with him! Polly was not so pleased.... I guess that's why you don't bring a male dog into a home with a female in heat.... They were fixed shortly after.... No brother cousins in this house! Now Polly and Mac are thick as thieves.... Inseparable!

Snow Fun! They loved laying in the snow together.... Probably felt good on their neuter incisions....

Best of Friends....

Annoying Big little brother.... At just 15 weeks Mac was the size of Polly.... Maybe he has part Great Dane in him.... That's the last thing we need!

Mac has a sweet teddy bear paw....

The face...

My swatch assistant.... He's got a mean eye for color!

Brother/Sister

So.... That's Mac!
