The Angel.... Of Destruction... Polly.

Let's just say Drew and I have different techniques on how to train and raise dogs. Polly is Drew's dog, goes to work with him in most days... Cleo and Mac are mine.... Balanced? Hmm.... Anyway, Polly is never pleased when Drew leaves her behind. Even worse then when we both leave. Drew refused to let me crate train her... So he would leave her in our room with the door closed. Cleo is fine to free roam and I crate trained Mac... So no destruction on their parts...

We were constantly coming home to fun new holes in our bedroom walls! What? No, Polly, don't!

Polly photo bombing on her handiwork! I hesitated to post this, because I in no way want to condone or make people think it is okay to have a dog and just keep them outside. Don't have a dog if that's what you are going to do. Anyway.... There are occasions when we have to run an errand and don't want to keep the dogs cooped up inside. I repeat, when we are home the dogs are with us, this isn't a replacement for walks or exercise.

We have a shed in our backyard pretty beat, but has 4 insulated walls. We installed an air conditioner and a dog door.

We put some chain link for a little outdoor area! And boom! Polly do your worst!

Saving our walls!

Just to prove our dogs are indoor dogs, Cleo is showing the best seat in the house.

And these two..... All night long cuddle fest.... Seriously love each other!

A Giant Water Bag....

I saw on pinterest this giant water bag. Drew needed to run to Home Depot for some supplies so we tagged along and bought some plastic sheeting and Duck Tape...

The littles helped unroll the 10X25 sheet...

it was bigger then I had pictured. Ha!

We folded it in half and taped off the three open sides, leaving one corner open for the hose.

Filled with water.....

And fun for all! I ended up twisting the corners and taping them off. Corners had little leaks.

The kids loved it. Despite the kid with the striped shirts scowl.... Who is he? I don't know.... Seriously just showed up to enjoy.... No parents.... What? Good summer fun!

The House We Called Pinky!

"Pinky" in Bountiful is all wrapped up... Here are some before and afters...

Love the blue on this door....

Is it weird to say you love the color you picked?

This house was full of "character".... Oh boy!

Look at all those fun colors! Well I said no fun! Just this calm grey...

Opened up the wall to make a large front room...

This room was an airplane room? Sheet metal walls airplane and cloud ceilings... Kind of neat...

Underneath the sheet metal was this pink.... Awesome!

I spy Drew taking a picture into what is now the master bath.

And the after...

Missing that redd carpet... But I found a way to design without it....

Large double vanity.... Just waiting for someone to find a giant basket and roll white towels in it, then place it in the middle of the his amd hers sinks

I had so much fun finding the pieces for this bath. My favorite had to be the tile...

Love the white shower stalls, but wanted to try something besides subway. I had never seen anything like this tile, until I stumbled upon a very random tile store...

Mosaic tile for under your feet compliment my large 12X24 brilliant white tile...

My pictures just cannot do it justice! It's a real crowd pleaser I will tell you that!

Up close detail...

Shower stall was trimmed out with the mosaic tile from the floor... Details.

The office before...
And after... We took the random French doors from around the house and placed them on either entrance of the office...

This is a staircase up to a playroom nook.... Painted in a Dr. Seuss mural... I told you... "character".

And after...

The stone bathroom closest to the pool...

More of a during phase... Don't mind the mop... And the draped curtain... I found a darling curtain from Lowes.... You should see it... Ha!

The main room... Sadly the hot tub was removed.... We did discover another hot tub underneath it.... That one was removed as well... The sliding glass door was framed in for matching windows..l

Mudroom looking in...

The old chandelier....

The new....

All those windows!

Backsplashes are fun.... I love accents, but wanted to try a cascade feel... Love how it turned out...

These subway tiles are 2x3s instead of your standard 3x6s... Fun and simple...

The floor was another fun find.... Has a linen look and texture... Another favorite in the house.

Satin nickel hardware always looks nice..l

The exterior made the house! Cedar shakes were a real win!

Window on the left was the sliding glass door that was framed in... Balance is key.

Oh the pool..... How inviting does this pool look?

Very? I agree...
