Painting a Barn...

This place is straight out of a fairy tale... I was hired to pick the interior paint color and Drew was hired to paint... It was no small feat...
How awesome is the exterior of this home... The former owners color scheme gave a dark and moody feel to the home. The new home owner wanted light and crisp... We tried out a whole bunch of whites and cremes. We finally landed on Pointing from Farrow and Ball... It was incredible!

Before they used Georgian Green by Benjamin Moore on some walls and then the same color at 25% for the ceiling color. Then randomly throughout they used yellow accent walls.

We went with Pointing throughout the house, which I think is ideal for an open floor plan... And Decorators White from Benjamin Moore on the ceiling... It is breathtaking!

Drew was standing on scaffolding up 40 feet. It made me sick to my stomach to watch. He's a pro!

A little side by side for comparison.

Its just so bright and fresh... It shows off the mortis and tenon timber framing which is the real master piece of the home!

Not a barn without antlers...

A little slice of heaven on earth...

  2. Really brightens it up. Is the silo part of the house? I'd love to see the inside of it. :)
