The House We Called Pinky!

"Pinky" in Bountiful is all wrapped up... Here are some before and afters...

Love the blue on this door....

Is it weird to say you love the color you picked?

This house was full of "character".... Oh boy!

Look at all those fun colors! Well I said no fun! Just this calm grey...

Opened up the wall to make a large front room...

This room was an airplane room? Sheet metal walls airplane and cloud ceilings... Kind of neat...

Underneath the sheet metal was this pink.... Awesome!

I spy Drew taking a picture into what is now the master bath.

And the after...

Missing that redd carpet... But I found a way to design without it....

Large double vanity.... Just waiting for someone to find a giant basket and roll white towels in it, then place it in the middle of the his amd hers sinks

I had so much fun finding the pieces for this bath. My favorite had to be the tile...

Love the white shower stalls, but wanted to try something besides subway. I had never seen anything like this tile, until I stumbled upon a very random tile store...

Mosaic tile for under your feet compliment my large 12X24 brilliant white tile...

My pictures just cannot do it justice! It's a real crowd pleaser I will tell you that!

Up close detail...

Shower stall was trimmed out with the mosaic tile from the floor... Details.

The office before...
And after... We took the random French doors from around the house and placed them on either entrance of the office...

This is a staircase up to a playroom nook.... Painted in a Dr. Seuss mural... I told you... "character".

And after...

The stone bathroom closest to the pool...

More of a during phase... Don't mind the mop... And the draped curtain... I found a darling curtain from Lowes.... You should see it... Ha!

The main room... Sadly the hot tub was removed.... We did discover another hot tub underneath it.... That one was removed as well... The sliding glass door was framed in for matching windows..l

Mudroom looking in...

The old chandelier....

The new....

All those windows!

Backsplashes are fun.... I love accents, but wanted to try a cascade feel... Love how it turned out...

These subway tiles are 2x3s instead of your standard 3x6s... Fun and simple...

The floor was another fun find.... Has a linen look and texture... Another favorite in the house.

Satin nickel hardware always looks nice..l

The exterior made the house! Cedar shakes were a real win!

Window on the left was the sliding glass door that was framed in... Balance is key.

Oh the pool..... How inviting does this pool look?

Very? I agree...

5th East Home Complete...

The 5th East house wrapped up the week after it sold.... Yep... This beauty sold before hitting the market... It sold before we had countertops in.... Pretty crazy. The before exterior...

The after.... Love that aqua door...

just a better picture of the color... The one above is a little washed out.

The interior before.... Lovely.

During demo...

And an after....

I was going to paint inside the nook blue... But the house sold too quickly.... That's the kind of problem I like to have!

Love these lights... The drum light was perfect for the breakfast nook, and the track lighting helped to elongate the galley kitchen.

The only picture I have of the bathroom was after it was completely gutted... Testing my materials together.

I love how it all all came together!

The large subway tile looked so good. Gave a much cleaner surface. I broke up the glass accent to give it the appearance of having more. And help draw the eye up.

This bathroom had a large linen closet, so to make it feel bigger and more open we went with the pedestal sink.

The kitchen before...

My favorite thing to design in the house was the flooring. Using 4x12 grey tile we did a 90 degree herringbone. My thought was to draw the eye both out the door and side to side. I think it turned out perfect.

Success!
