Paneled walls in a front room, dining room, entry, stairwell and hallway... And it is breath taking.... Below is the before of the front room....
And a grainy iPhone shot after...
Mantle before...
After...
Before...
A little panorama during shot... Floors were still covered, furniture draped and lights wrapped.... But wow.... I love it...
Entry stairwell before....
And after...
Top of the stairs looking down...
Dining room before...
After... Love...
One panel intersection.... It's amazing to think about what is underneath the paint... We had to skim coat the walls for a smooth surface, 1/2" MDF for the raised verticals and horizontals (or stiles and rails) and then the rabbeted edge pencil mould inset... Along with glue, nails, putty for nail holes, caulk for the lines, Spackle for joints, spot glazing putty for touch ups, primer and paint.... And don't forget sanding In between every step.... And that is all!
