Finally!!!

I took my road bike out!! The air quality was only slightly murky. But the sun was shining, there wasn't any new snow so cross country skiing wasn't an option. And I couldn't wait to test drive my new bike.
My pretty pretty bike! And of course I tracked my course on my RunKeeper App! I have already converted 3 people, and I'm pushing to make everyone buy this App. I should be getting paid for this. (Speaking of which, feel free to click on the ads running on the side of my blog. We get 10 cents a click! Feel free to click all of them! Thanks Meghan! My sister is a loyal clicker!) Anywho... The ride was amazing.
As you can see my intensity is much greater cycling then it is skiing. Not as many pictures to be taken while cycling.
And yes, I am in love with cycling too! I only had one near miss when my visiting teacher tried to run me over! Whatevs... Maybe she really doesn't like bringing me treats every month like she says! So great! So many fun things to try!!

Happy Christmas

Christmas was/ is Amazing! We are just waiting in the theater waiting for Sherlock Holmes to start. (More on that later). Anyway we woke up early this morning anxious to exchange gifts! This is the first year we have done this! With the help of early Christmas money, selling puppies and Drew I got a road bike! I don't think anyone really understands how excited I am. It perfect it was the exact one I wanted. And the last one in my size. A Christmas miracle!
I am so in LOVE!!
Drew with the help of the same said money got a miter saw. And is smitten. Since we bought it he has said goodnight to it EVERY night.
Drew surprised me with this awesome projector! I love it, and can't wait to hook my phone up to it and other fun gadgety things!

A very blurry picture of the projector on our wall! You get the idea!
Then after opening stocking stuffers, and more we headed to my mom's again for a waffle breakfast.
Watching the grandkidlets opening their presents is so fun!
Lizzy and Sara Jane opening Polly Pockets. Kami couldn't be more excited!
And Cookie was surprised with a robo hamster from Mimi. Not a big fan of rodents, but these hybrid robos are pretty darn cute!
Yes we stayed all night and day in our onesies! Ugh... They are just too amazing!
Probably my favorite picture of the day. My mom was helping Hardy figure out his toy, and Sara Jane was crawling all over her. She just LOVES her Mimi. The best part was my mom didn't even notice.
Kami leading the White Elephant gift exchange.
Nick scored a sweet Chuck Norris shirt. I got a reindeer costume for my car. Amazing, and Drew scored some candy! Happy as a clam!
So now to wrap up the day we are going to see Sherlock Holmes. I can't wait Sherlock was one of my favorite books. On vacations my dad and I would find used book stores and I would pick a book. This is where I got my Sherlock Holmes books. Such great memories! Anyway Merry Christmas! Hope it was as amazing as ours!

My Birthday Presents!!!

Just to show you how awesome my family is I thought I would put up my presents! I decided this year I was going to try out road biking, maybe it was the little mini tour de utah I got to witness. Or the fact that you cannot drive anywhere without almost running over a biker, that road biking has been on my mind! Well this was the year!

Drewpy surprised me with the road bike shoes I have been wanting, what is even more impressive was how he knew which size shoe to get. I have about three different shoe sizes in or closet!
Aren't they darling? I asked him if I could have some of his socks so i could wear them over my shoes, so they wouldn't get dirty... The look he gave me, I assume meant no.

My super adorable helmet, that Amy and Rich Hogan gave me!! How amazing are my in-laws... Jealous?

Now it all got a little hazy from here! I just kept opening stuff it was amazing, I think these are from Drew, or at least that's what I was lead to believe... But they could be from Rich and Amy now that I think of it, I'll have to make some phone calls tomorrow!
Oh and Drew (for sure) bought me the white bar tape to re-do the handle bars on my sweet Schwinn... Say that 5x fast!

And last but not least the 'terrifying' click pedals! I am so excited about them, but they truly terrify me! I am still too scared to ride my bike during the day, because it takes me so long to click in, and get out of them is a whole other traumatizing story! But they are AMAZING!! Andrew is going to take me to pick out some new wheels for my purple wonder! I can't wait!! Thank you to my incredible family!!
